About Us

Our History

Neeto Clothing was established in 2023, but our journey in creating and screenprinting designs spans over 13 years. Neeto emerged as a rebranding evolution from our previous venture, Moshi Moshi Shirts, with a renewed focus on streetwear, surf, and skate-inspired designs, while staying true to our roots in Japanese culture and anime. Every design is still crafted and hand-screenprinted by Martin Nieto, a passionate enthusiast of Japanese culture, anime, and photography, particularly capturing the essence of Japan.

We handle all printing and shipping ourselves from our base near Chicago area, USA in Summer months  and usually we’re printing and shipping from our studio in Osaka Japan during the winter. As a small, dedicated team of 1-2 people, our mission remains steadfast: to continue creating and sharing our love for Japanese culture through our unique designs. Thank you for your support!

Our Work

We design and print our own t-shirts, staying true to traditional methods in an era where many brands rely on decals, digital printers (DTG), or dropshipping services. While these modern techniques are convenient for producing detailed, full-color designs, the quality often falls short compared to older, more hands-on approaches. That’s why we stick to the time-honored craft of silkscreening, hand-printing each design with care.

We use eco-friendly, water-based inks, which are challenging to work with but result in a superior print quality. These inks dye the fabric, creating a soft, breathable finish that becomes part of the material itself. In contrast, most mass-produced screenprinted t-shirts use plastisol inks, which are easier for high-volume production since they take longer to dry on screens. However, plastisol leaves a thick, rubbery layer on top of the fabric that can crack over time. Water-based inks, on the other hand, integrate seamlessly into the fabric, offering a durable, breathable print that often outlasts the t-shirt itself. For us, it’s all about quality, sustainability, and preserving the artistry of traditional screenprinting.
